The grapes for this wine were full flavoured and the wine was made to retain a little residual sugar. As a result, this wine is quite luscious. It has tropical fruit notes on the nose and a full, rich palate, providing tropical fruit and citrus characters. It is designed as an aperitif or well suited to complement spicy Asian food dishes.
This wine is made in the Northern Rhone style, the home of the Shiraz Viognier blend in France. The wine exhibits a distinctive red cherry and cedar oak aroma, with dark cherry fruit flavours
Tasting Note: Made from hand-picked early-picked Shiraz and Viognier from Point of View Vineyard, this is a delightfully light pink Rosé with strawberry aroma on the nose and a delightful dry, but fruity palate and a nice long spicy finish. Perfect for summer afternoons.
Tasting Note: The Riesling was made from hand-picked fruit from Long Rail Gully vineyard. The freshly pressed juice was cooled to 15 degrees centigrade and then fermented at low temperatures. It has produced a wine with a nice floral aroma with a firm citrus and lime palate that has considerable length on the back palate.
Traditional Bordeaux blend from a cooler vintage, producing full fruit flavours of dark cherry and blackberry complimented by soft tannins and a long lingering finish. Will reward cellaring
Tasting Note: This is our first Riesling and is made in the modern style. The fruit was hand-picked and the juice cooled and then fermented at low temperatures. It has produced a floral aroma with a firm citrus and lime palate that lingers on the back palate.
