The 2014 vintage is well underway with most varieties already in the winery and at various stages of the winemaking process. This year we have processed Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Merlot and Shiraz Viognier. At this stage, the winemaker is very happy with the colour and flavour development in the wines! We are yet to pick the cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc grapes for the 2014 Trio blend. These are both later ripening varieties and need to hang on the vines a little longer to fully develop their baumé and flavours. We are hoping the weather remains kind to us – warm and dry!!
